The O.C.I.A. is the process by which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church. The process is a faith journey in which those seeking baptism, those wishing to complete their initiation by Confirmation and Eucharist, including those baptized in another Christian Church, are welcomed and supported by the whole church community. The stages of faith development are the preparation for receiving the sacraments at the Easter Vigil Mass.
